Do you trust free mobile blogging clients?

Who remembers Kablog java based mobile blogging client? After a lot of efforts and partial success, developer gave up offering his source code as an open source. But no one picked it up. So for a while there were only commercial applications available. Some of them are “free”, backed by different business models for Return on Investment. Typically driving traffic to centralized web sites that aggregate content or through advertisement. Some like WordPress for iPhone are backed by WordPress developers themselves.
There are more free like Python based one for S60 (does not support Google’s Blogger tough) and provides limited support that depends on the availability of the developer. It also has no guarantee for the life duration…
As someone said once: “I am not rich enough to have cheap staff…” ;-)

Wavelog 2 best mobile blogging tool for Nokia owners

Six months after releasing version 1 of its mobile blogging client, telewaving.com equipped the mobile blogging comunity with a completely redesigned tool. Wavelog 2 is hard to compare with its ancestor. Its a Nokia native C++ application uncomparably faster than its competition. Images, videos and audio files are instanteniously uploaded to a blog. Of course this depends on the mobile network speed, but if you are at Starbucks connected to the Wi-Fi hotspot it’s immediate. There isn’t any server synchronization.
In Wavelog 2 it is possible to resize photo thumbnails.
You may change photo allignments and borders.
Great news for Google platform lovers, Wavelog supports Blogger.com, YouTube and Picasa.
All other aspects of mobile blogging is present this time, tagging, links, categories, even HTML editing for advanced users.
The best of all, you may fetch old posts, make changes or add multinmedia and post them back, or even post them to a different blog as it is possible to set multiple blog providers.
According to Telewaving’s official blog, Wavelog will be available also on Nokia’s latest touch screen platform with the release of 5800 phone.
Is it good enough if I say that this is posted from Nokia N95 using Wavelog 2?
